It can be deeply upsetting when things that I am expecting to go smoothly do not go to plan. I am surrounded with competent colleagues and work with capable clients; so when setbacks occur, particularly ones which I feel I should have anticipated and avoided, my reactions range from mild irritation, through disappointment and annoyance, to exasperated self-criticism.
