An Inquiry into What it Means and Takes to Lead and Live Well

Following on from the research and work Erik de Haan and I conducted over the last few years, I have found myself reflecting further on the whole topic of leading and how to lead well. More specifically, I have been asking how it is possible for leadership to be felt (by self and others) as congruent with and contributing to living well.

This has led me to a new question that I am living with (and that I am repeatedly brought back to me through my coaching and life / work experience). The question is: What does it mean and take to lead and live well?

Rather than continuing to wonder about this question on my own - I decided to carry out a short inquiry amongst people that are in leadership positions, and who may be interested in sharing their own reflections on this question. The insights they offer will then be put alongside other reading and research that I am carrying out - to see what answers the collective wisdom of he inquiry, reading and study may suggest.

If you are in a leadership role and would be willing to engage in a short phone conversation about what living and well mean to you - please do get in touch by emailing me at  - giving us a contact email or telephone number to reach you on.
